Measurements of the positive and negative ionic conductivities close to
the ground show that, at Durham, both conductivities decrease with
height above the ground, in contrast to results of (1939) at Kew. The
ratio of positive to negative conductivity and the alterations with
height all decrease with increasing wind-speed.
