We describe an improved technique for obtaining abundances of Os, Ir,
Pt, and Au in iron meteorites by ion probe. Data for 5 irons agree well
with previous bulk measurements. Os, Ir, Pt, and Au are enriched in
taenite and show M-shaped profiles.
