Slow electric-type waves are investigated in propagating along a plane plasma layer with account of the pressure of the high frequency field of wave. Expressions are obtained for the fields and the derived dispersion equations appreciably differ from those of linear theory. The high frequency pressure is shown to ensure electromagnetic field penetration into plasma, which is not brought about to a linear approximation (with no account of the high frequency pressure) due to skin-effect.
