We propose a moderately deep (120ks each for two positions) XMM observation of the existing Chandra Large Area Synoptic X-ray Survey of the Lockman Hole-Northwest field. This field represent the largest fully analyzed large solid angle, sensitive Chandra survey. In the uniform 36'x36' Chandra solid angle we have obtained optical spectra and redshifts of over 250 of the 525 sources as well as very deep (27 mag) optical multi-band images. Of these sources 127 of them are brighter than 1e-14 c.g.s where good quality XMM X-ray spectra are possible in moderate exposure times. The unique combination of XMM spectra and timing data, Chandra positions, and very deep optical, near-infrared, far-infrared, and submillimeter observations will enable the
