The mission THEMIS includes three closely separated probes (~10Re) flowing in a cluster configuration. These three observatory points provide a good opportunity for analyzing the small and meso-scale dynamics of the plasma and current sheets in the near-Earth tail. In this study, we focus on dipolarisation events which occurred when two of these satellites were only separated along the Z direction (1) at the same location in the XY(GSM) plane and (2) on both sides of the neutral sheet. Accordingly to these criteria, we systematically searched and characterized these events using the AMDA service, available at CDPP (http://cdpp.cesr.fr), for the 2008, 2009 and 2010 campaigns. In this statistical study, we attempt to analyse and interpret (1) the 3D local, small and meso-scale, magnetic topology changes during the dipolarisations; (2) the local dynamics of the current system, (3) the associated flows and the (4) embedded small scale current structures.
