The accelerating feature of solar wind flow from the subsonic and sub-Alfven velocity into supersonic and super-Alfven velocity is discussed for an axisymmetric magnetic flux tube. The consequences of including the flow and magnetic field in the analysis are specified, including the presence of both the critical sonic line and the critical Alfven line. Three transitions of solar wind flow in the magnetic flux tube result in the type of magnetohydrodynamic equations changing from elliptic ones into hyperbolic ones followed by elliptic ones, and finally hyperbolic ones. Several transitions for solar wind flow in the local flow tube may exist.
