Experiments with stable and radioactive beams play an important role in understanding the phenomena observed at various astrophysical sites ranging from the early universe to novae and supernovae explosions. A summary of recent achievements in nuclear astrophysics is given and an experiment measuring the8B neutrino spectrum with a new technique is described in more detail.
