The Wagoner-Will (1976) and Brumberg (1972) analytical representations are given for the solution of the two-body problem in the truncated PPN theory; the method of osculating elements is also employed. The first approach yields an expression for the post-Newtonian orbit, allowing the time dependence to be obtained in turn. It is found that Brumberg's perturbing function is sufficiently general to cover the present PPN two-body problem.
