Mineral inclusions (primarily zircon and an Al2SiO5 phase) were found in
19 of 32 layered Australasian tektites. The highest concentrations are
in samples from Muong Phin, Laos. Our prelimary data are consistent with
a source crater in southern Laos or adjacent area.
