For outstanding solar flares, available soft X-ray measurements which are mostly limited by detector saturation, have been examined along with the estimates of fluxes based on the relationships of flare X-rays with radio bursts. Distinctive coronal emitting source characteristics typical for outstanding flares as a class has been utilized to estimate 0.5-3 A flux levels. The spectral distributions have been derived and presented for representative outstanding flare conditions and for individual events.
