Compound diffusion of cosmic rays in a large-scale turbulent magnetic field is considered. The results show that such magnetic fields may exert a significant influence on the motion of cosmic-ray particles and that this influence is connected with dragging of the particles and additional arbitrary wandering of magnetic lines of force. It is concluded that complete dragging, which results in compound diffusion, is hardly possible under the conditions in which cosmic rays propagate in the Galaxy and that partial dragging is quite possible under these conditions and leads to a change in the effective average diffusion coefficient.
