Features of high-energy nuclear interactions at 20 TeV are studied by a balloon-borne emulsion chamber with a jet producer. Experimental results are compared with Monte Carlo simulations. It is shown that the mean transverse momentum of Pi(0) mesons increases slowly with incident energy. It is also found that the multiplicity and the scaling breakdown increases faster than logS in the central region, resulting in a gradual steepening of the fractional energy spectrum in the same region.
