In 2001, three MBK Team members observed the Leonid meteor storm from Arizona, employing both visual and photographic techniques. During the peak night more than 10 000 Leonids were recorded in just over 15 hours of observing time. The calculated peak ZHR of the Leonids was 4000 at lambda=236.153 deg. Observing experiences as well as a few useful directions are given.
