Pressure, density, speed of sound, collisional frequency, column mass, density scale, mean-free path, viscosity, pressure scale, mean particle velocity, and number density parameters are computed for the Cytherean atmosphere at altitudes from 0 to 170 km. The data for the calculations are obtained from the Pioneer Venus measurements of the chemical compositon, temperature distribution functions of the altitude, the surface pressure, and the surface temperature. These and other measurements from spacecraft missions and ground-based observations are reviewed and a model for the atmosphere is presented.
