Collapsars are massive rotating stars which collapse to form black holes with rapidly accreting disks. I will review collapsars as a model for GRBs and asymmetric supernovae and discuss recent progress in numerical modelling of these events. I will discuss the connection between GRBs and observed supernovae and implications for the conditions near the central engine. Recent work on relativistic jets and electomagnetic flows inside massive sars will also be presented.
