The RAS reports with great sadness the untimely death of John Randall, editorial office manager of MNRAS, on 29 January 2008. He gave many years of valuable service to the astronomical community and will be sorely missed.
Undergraduate internships in the field of meteoritics are available from the Paneth Meteorite Trust, with a deadline of 4 May this year for applications for funding.
Now that the Society has returned to Burlington House, normal life can resume, and that includes Saturday opening of the Library.
