We study two debated aspects of the Epeak-Eiso correlation: its evolution with redshift and possible selection effects. Through an updated (to Sept. 2007) sample of 76 GRBs with measured z we show that this correlation does not evolve with redshift. By considering two selection effects, i.e. the minimum flux required to trigger a burst (trigger threshold) and the minimum flux to properly analyse its prompt emission spectrum (spectral analysis threshold), we can exclude that the Epeak-Eiso correlation is due to the trigger threshold selection effect. We can also exclude the spectral analysis bias for the non-Swift bursts (49 out of 76 events). Only for the Swift sample (27 GRBs) we find that the latter selection effect is biasing the sample. We discuss the limitations of this sample to probe the Epeak-Eiso correlation.
