Near and mid-infrared high-angular resolution surveys like 2MASS, GLIMPSE, MIPSGAL, and UKIDDS are providing new information on the distribution of stars in the Galactic disk that had previously been unobservable due to extinction. These surveys have allowed for the identification of standard candles, such as "red clump" giants that can be used to map the structure of the old stellar disk. I will summarize the progress in mapping the stellar structure of the Galaxy, starting with the bar and the warp, and then review the progress and prospects for mapping the stellar spiral structure of the Galaxy.
