The possible detection of a rotating galaxy cluster is reported. The cluster was observed with the Ariel satellite in the southern hemisphere (03 h, 16 m, -44 degrees) and is tentatively named SC 0316-44. On the basis of measurements of the velocity dispersion of the individual galaxies it could not be shown that the observations were not simply the result of two clusters partially overlapping.
