Among Spitzer images of >200 nearby solar-type stars, many stars with IR excess exhibit emission that is clearly extended beyond the instrument point spread function. Though the debris disks in these systems are only marginally resolved, the images still provide useful constraints on the disk extent/orientation and hence on the dust grain properties.
