Scientific paper
A method of measuring paleotides on the moon is presented. The probable
cause of the mascons, based on earth-moon distances at the time of
mascon formation is described. This is used to determine the early
history of the earth-moon system. There are strong implications that the
moon could not have been formed in orbit about the earth.
