Scientific paper

The paper presents basic data on model atmospheres for O- through M-type stars, which have been calculated in the period from 1965 to 1973. Effects of line blanketing, convection, departures from LTE, and composition anomalies on atmospheric structure and the radiation spectrum are discussed. The most accurate models for each spectral type are pointed out, and results of comparing them with observations are considered.
