Results are presented for observations of the two cited quasars, which were carried out in the course of 2.5 years in order to detect possible variations in their fluxes at 408 MHz. It is found that the flux density of 3C 273 decreased by approximately 25% over a ten-month period, while the flux density of 3C 279 remained practically constant during the same period.
