The data coming from on-board satellite radiospectrometer can be used as a tool for monitoring of the position and dynamic of the ionospheric trough. It was observed that over the region of the main ionospheric trough E.M. noises occupied the broad band H.F. frequency range (0.1-10. MHz). This paper presents the structure and dynamics of the ionospheric trough during the magnetospheric substorm, and the relation between typical geomagnetic index and position of the trough, on the base of data from Intercosmos-19; Active and Apex satellites.
