Fast follow-up observations by BeppoSAX have led so far to the discovery of X-ray afterglows in three GRBs: GRB970228, GRB970402, GRB970508. In this paper we report on the spectral properties, in particular the spectral shape and the spectral variability in the 0.1-10 keV range of GRB970228 and GRB970508, and briefly discuss the implications of these measurements on models and radiative mechanisms of GRBs.
