The energy spectra of anomalous cosmic rays (ACRs) are thought to arise from the acceleration of pickup ions at the solar wind termination shock. The low-energy portion of the energy spectra are expected to be power-laws in energy and the power-law index is directly related to the strength of the shock. In this talk we use ACR data collected from the Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft during 1994 and 1995, together with appropriate models, to infer a number of characteristics of the solar wind termination shock, including its strength and location. We also report on the composition of ACRs and deduce the relative injection efficiencies of pickup ions into the acceleration process. We will also search for heretofore unknown ACR species and report our findings.
