It is shown that a Dirac Hamiltonian exists which is equivalent to that of a charged isotropic harmonic oscillator in a uniform magnetic field. This Hamiltonian happens to have exact analytical solutions and is free of the infinite degeneracy associated with the motion, relativistic or nonrelativistic, of a free particle in such a field. As an application this model is used to study magnetoemission from white dwarfs.
