A data reduction package was used to process IUE data on interstellar lines. Lines were classed as normal, ionized, neutral, excited, depleted, or molecule. Lines within each of these groups were plotted together in increasing wavelength order, and for two extractions of the same line, in decreasing order number. Analysis indicates that stellar factors in hot supergiants can easily be confused with interstellar lines. Data on Zeta Oph show serious discrepancies with Copernicus satellite data. It is suggested that Copernicus may have a background problem in the A1II and Fe II line regions.
