The form of the UV continuum of HR Del is discussed. The IUE spectra indicate the presence of a power law continuum, close to the classical accretion disk law of Lynden-Bell. A very high accretion rate of 0.00001 N/yr is found for the disk. Orbital variations of the continuum and emission line fluxes during a shift in 1980, can be interpreted as due to occultation of central regions of the disk by material associated with the outer edge of the disk.
