Spectroscopic orbits for the two subdwarfs, HD 111980 and HD 149414, are computed from Coravel spectrometer data. Both their metallicities relative to the sun (Fe/H equals -1.2 and -1.4) and their mean radial velocities indicate that they are halo stars. These F and G halo stars are the first spectroscopic binaries with such extreme values of velocities and metallicities for which orbits have been determined.
