Scientific paper

Images reconstructed from data obtained with a four-element Michelson
interferometer are presented. These demonstrate the importance of
closure phase measurement at optical wavelengths and indicate that true
diffraction-limited imaging with large ground-based telescopes is
relatively straightforward.
