Using Sehnal's exponential law for density height-dependence ρ = ρ0·exp[A0+A1/h], the first-order drag perturbations in the motion of an orbiter evolving in the Martian atmosphere are determined over a nodal period by integrating the Newton-Euler equations. The results are more general than Sehnal's ones: the variations of all orbitals elements are obtained, Mars' oblateness and its atmospheric rotation are considered, the study of very low eccentric orbits is possible.
