A one-dimensional stationary spherical symmetric model of stellar wind is examined within the framework of gas dynamics assuming that energy transfer in the outer atmosphere of a star is realized through electron heat conduction. The shape of the critical curve corresponding to the subsonic-supersonic transition is investigated in detail; the types of the singular points on the curve and their relation to the separatrix directions are examined. The stability of the solutions with respect to perturbations in the vicinity of singular points is analyzed using the approach proposed by Kulikovskii and Slobodkina (1967).
