We present integrated spectroscopy of a sample of Galactic globular clusters, centered on SiI (1.59 microns ) and CO (1.62 and 2.29 microns ) near-IR stellar features. A good correlation between the selected indexes and the cluster metallicity was found. By means of synthetic stellar spectra we also derived some information on the Si and C abundances and their relation with the cluster metal content.
