Estimates are made of the effect of the aberrations of the optical system of an astrograph in the form of radial cubic anomalous distortion on the accuracy of determinations of the exact positions of the observed objects with respect to the reference stars. It is shown that the nonperpendicularity of the plane of the photographic plate to the optical axis of the telescope leads to additional errors in astrophotographic plate reduction.
