Spectral observations with resolution 200000 have been used to study turbulent velocities in the atmospheres of the Sun, α Centauri A, Procyon, Arcturus, Canopus, and to estimate the rotation velocity (Vesin i) of Canopus. It was found that the isotropic microturbulent velocities and radial-tangential macroturbulent velocities are quite suitable approximations to describe velocity field in the atmospheres of all stars studied except Canopus.
