Spontaneous Breaking Of Gauge Symmetries
Scientific paper
In multiply connected spacetimes which contain quantum wormholes it may
be possible to break gauge symmetries without the usual Higgs fields. In
a simple model, symmetry breaking is favored by the quantum effects of
Dirac Fermions and leads to vector boson masses related to the wormhole
separation.
