Impacts produce vapor along with melt, in a roughly 1:9 mass ratio. Yet
in the sampled lunar megaregolith, condensates are < 0.001 times as
abundant as impact-melt breccias. We suggest most condensates land into
basin-interior impact-melt lakes.
