The solar wind interaction with an asteroid has aspects similar to the
solar wind interactions with the Moon and comets, and the MHD
interaction between Io and its plasma torus. Each of these aspects is
modified by finite gyro radius effects, which become very significant
for the small-diameter majority of asteroids.
