Recently, 3/4 keV X-rays were found near two High Velocity Clouds (HVCs). We propose to reexamine one of these regions, a cloud in the Magellanic Stream, and to extend the search to an additional cloud in the Magellanic Stream. If these HVCs do not induce X-rays, then they can be used as shadows in a search for X-rays from the warm-hot intergalactic medium.
