It is shown that turbulent convection in a density-stratified medium redistributes the angular momentum such that differential rotation arises. Angular velocity decreases at high latitudes and increases at low ones. The inversion region of the sign of the angular velocity radial gradient belongs to the middle latitudes. It is shown that the solution obtained is not inconsistent with the observations and helioseismological data.
