The plane-wave approximation is used in an analytical study of MAC (magnetic, Archimedes, Coriolis) waves, with allowance for fast nonuniform rotation characteristic for the Z geodynamo model. It is shown that the nonuniform rotation conditions the localization of the MAC disturbances at midlatitudes. The phase velocity of the disturbances is of the order of the western drift velocity.
