The energy dependence of the ratio of light to intermediate nuclei in cosmic rays is analyzed for disk and central-source models. Source spectra are computed in the diffusion approximation for models with a large quasi-spherical halo. It is shown that the penetration-depth distribution function drops steeply for small mean free paths. The source spectrum of primary nuclei is found to have an approximate power-law dependence on total energy per nucleon.
