Earth-based hypsometric measurements and data obtained from the Zond-8 and Apollo spacecraft were used to find coefficients for the expansion of lunar topography in a series of spherical harmonics up to the 6th order and the 4th degree. A geometrical lunar figure was constructed on the basis of the harmonic analysis. It is shown that the observed lunar megarelief did not closely resemble the selenoid figure.
