Four S0 galaxies, NGC 3115, 3607, 4111, and 4762, were observed with the Very Large Array at 1.46 GHz in an attempt to detect radio continuum emission from their disk component. No disk emission was detected and the emissivity is at least a factor 10 lower than in spiral galaxies. This is probably due to the very low gas content of these galaxies, showing the influence of the gas on the radio emission (magnetic field and sources of relativistic electrons).
