Within the framework of the adiabatic affine model, the conditions of helium detonation in the core of a star highly compressed by external tidal forces when it penetrates deeply into the Roche radius of a giant black hole are examined. It is shown that significant helium detonation occurs for lower main-sequence star cores with penetration factors greater than 13. For the more extreme events, the nature and abundance of the principal elements, such as Si-26, Si-28 (and their different by-products), Mg-22, and Ne-18, that are synthesized during the very hot pancake phase, are determined.
