Using the computational model of Wilson and Devinney (1971), new narrow-band light curves of the eclipsing variable Mu-Her, obtained in the Utrecht photometric system, are interpreted. The results indicate that Mu-Her is a semi-detached system in which the secondary component fills its Roche lobe. The properties of Mu-Her are determined accurately, using new observations in passbands 472, 672, 782, and 871 nm. In the latter three passbands, the calculated values show good internal agreement and no stellar or terrestrial lines are present. It is shown that the derived masses, radii, and inclination of the secondary component are approximately independent of the assumed effective temperature of the primary component, whereas the temperature of the secondary component depends linearly on it. The results are compared with the results obtained by Soderhjelm (1978) and Provoost (1980).
