Linear stability analysis of a stationary, supersonic turbulent jet, both in the hydrodynamical and M.H.D. regimes, has been performed by a numerical computation of the relevant dispersion relations. The stability analysis has been restricted to the inviscid limit and parallel flow approximation, the main interest being for a preliminary overview of some dynamical effects which are considered to be important for extragalactic radio jets structure. Three configurations, modelling the radio jet physical regimes in different phases of its evolution, have been analysed. The relevance of the results to the problem of wiggle formation in radio jets is discussed.
