Various papers on optomechanics and dimensional stability are presented. Individual topics addressed include: rapid-cooled lens cell, multiple-diode laser optomechanical issues, 32-channel LED array spectrometer module with compact optomechanical construction, correction of inherent scan nonplanarity in an infrared sensor calibration facility, scheme of optical synthetic-aperture telescope. Also discussed are: finite element analysis of deformation in large optics due to space environment radiation, characterization of the dimensional stability of advanced metallic materials using an optical test bench structure, work-induced stress and long-term stability in optically polished silicon, fixation method with high-orientation accuracy for optical terminals in space.
