An analysis is presented of the space-time structure of periodic regimes of cyclotron instability in the radiation belts. For the excitation of such regimes, the external-excitation frequency (e.g., the MHD wave frequency) must coincide with the local natural frequency of the oscillation process. In the direction of particle drift from this region, a precipitation wave of energetic electrons into the subauroral ionosphere is formed; the spatial period of this wave decreases with distance from the excitation region.
